Currently, I am a Lecturer in the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield. I received my B.Sc. degree in Control Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and the M.Sc. degree in Control Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. I was with the R&D Department, Mega-motor Co., Tehran, as an Electrical Engineer from 2008 to 2009. Thereafter, I moved to Singapore to pursue my PhD on Brain-computer Interface. I received my PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2013. During my PhD studies, I was also an attached researcher at the Institute for Infocomm research, Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore. Moreover, in 2012, I was a visiting Student with the Electrical Engineering Department, National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Ireland. In 2013, I moved to University College Dublin where I worked as a lecturer in Biomedical Engineering. From 2014 to 2015, I worked as a research fellow in Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience, Dublin, Ireland where I am currently one of its honorary research fellows.
